ANNIN STUDENTS EXCEL ON STANDARDIZED TESTS!
The Star Ledger (February 15, 2008, p. 5S) listed William Annin Middle School as the only middle school in Somerset County to receive three stars:
1. meets all No Child Left Behind standards
2. in top 10% achievement statewide
3. in top 10% achievement in economic group
As reported in the February 28, 2008 Bernardsville News (p. 20):
“In the GEPA tests, an overwhelming majority of the 407 Annin grade students tested ‘proficient’ or ‘advanced proficient’ in the three categories:
In language arts: 26% advanced proficient
70.8% proficient
3.2 % partially proficient
In math: 47.5% advanced proficient
46.3% proficient
6.1 % partially proficient
In science: 52.3% advanced proficient
46% proficient
1.7% partially proficient
