Attention Seniors: Required registration for the Senior
Dinner Beach Bash will take place outside of the cafeteria during all lunch
periods from Tuesday, May 28 through Friday, May 31. The Senior Dinner will be
held Friday, June 7th from 6 to 9PM in the New Gym Parking Lot. All food and
entertainment is free.
Come get your car washed by the Project Adventure Peer Leaders June 15th, 8am-noon at Ridge High School
Footloose, Newsies, Sister Act II…You’ll see selections from these shows and more when you come to see CABARET 2013 – tonight, Thursday night at 7:00 in the PAC. Tickets on sale during lunch periods.

Attention students! Auditions for the Ridge Dance Team will be held on Tuesday, May 28th and Tuesday, June 4th from 2:30-4:00 in the dance studio. Please email Ms. Falis to sign up for one of the audition dates. More information about the audition is on Ms. Falis' website.
Any Junior interested in running for a Student Government Position for next year, should pick up the Officer Petition forms and instructions from Ms. Cuccaro in the school counseling office. Petition and Candidate statements must be handed in by 2:30 on Friday May 31st.

The Creative Writing Club WORDS is currently holding a book drive for “Room to Read”, an organization that provides books to underprivileged nations. Please donate books of all types and for all ages. The donation box is by the Welcome Desk in the Main Lobby. Thank you for your support!
Have you been keeping track of the facts relating to the oppression of the citizens in North Korea over the past several weeks? The person who has all 8 facts down, and can present them to Junior Jamie Lee first, will receive a $20 gift card to the store of their choice. Jamie can be found in the upper 700 wing early in the morning. Here is the last fact, good luck!

- A crime in North Korea can be as simple as spreading out a newspaper on the floor, with Kim Jong Il's face on it. This infraction would likely result in the family being sent to a prison camp or possible public execution for rebellion against the state.
Congratulations to the 100 student Race Day Volunteers who came out in the rain early yesterday morning to participate at the Fourth Annual Superhero Half Marathon in Morristown. Because of your efforts -- We raised $1500 for The Fern Wilson Memorial Scholarship awarded to a Ridge senior every year! Special congratulations to senior Arun Sridharan, junior Brendan Cox and senior Ashton Webster --- who not only volunteered but also ran the Half Marathon!! Arun medaled at 5th place, with Brendan finishing 19th place and Ashton 32nd place.
Attention Juniors: Rich Greassle, the photographer from Normandy Studios, is currently at Ridge taking Senior Portraits through Thursday, June 6th. He is located in the Green Room, off the hallway, behind the PAC. All rising seniors recently received a yellow appointment card with a day and time for your portrait. If you misplaced the card, see Mr. Greassle, in Green Room, to make an alternate appointment. A photographer from Normandy Studios will return in the early fall to take Senior Portraits.
Join Guitar Club members, today, Thursday May 23rd, to hear Dave Pournelle, singer and guitarist for Runaway Dorothy, talk about his music and touring, right after school in Rm. 306. Contact Mr. Florance with any questions. Remember May 23rd in Rm. 306! PBA Local 357 of the Bernards Township Police Department is awarding a $1,000 scholarship to 2 Ridge seniors who intend to pursue a career in criminal justice. Check Naviance for details about this opportunity, and submit your application by tomorrow, Friday, May 24th at the latest.
Graduation Speeches: Seniors interested in speaking at this year's graduation should submit their 3-4 minute speech, which is approximately 750 words, via email to Dr. Donlevie no later than Wednesday, May 29.

A reminder to all students that there is a Job Opportunity bulletin board on the wall to the right of the welcome desk. If you are interested in a job after school, stop by and check out the new opportunities periodically.
There is a LOST & FOUND coat rack outside the Main Office for articles of clothing, shoes, hat & gloves and various other lost items. The rack is cleared prior to all school breaks and items remaining are donated to charity.
There is a Lost & Found in the Main Office for text and notebooks, as well as small items such as jewelry, calculators and cell phones. See Ms Sobine.
