Protection vs. Extinction Can We Save Them?
(An Endangered Animal Species WebQuest)
|
Did you ever wonder why some animals are extinct? What if you were able to help others learn how to save some animals from becoming extinct? Because you are a wildlife biologist, you have been asked to do a research project on an endangered animal. You will use online resources and traditional library resources to gather facts on your animals. You will be asked to share your knowledge and expertise on your endangered animal by creating a multimedia slideshow for your oral presentation. You will explain about your chosen animal and what is being done to protect it. Do you want your animal to become the next T-Rex? What can we do now to make your animal survive into the future?
Task: You will use the Internet to research an endangered animal of your choice. Next you will create a multimedia slideshow to present your information.

Conclusion:
Congratulations on your completion of this project. You have explored the Internet, the library, and the classroom for information and have done research on endangered species. You have become knowledgeable and informed about your chosen species and have also been informed about the animals chosen by your classmates. Hopefully, you have come to appreciate the importance in the need to protect the animals, or live without them because of extinction. You have completed this seminar on endangered species and have made great strides in teaching others, but there is still so much to be learned.
Protection vs. Extinction
You have found many new ways to do research, having fun and learning, so where do you go from here?
Keep exploring, researching, and sharing your knowledge.
You are the futureā¦.
Help to create a better one for every living creature.
