    The Liberty Corner Kindergarten classes are all a bloom with learning. Across the curriculum, our Kindergartners are nurtured in a student centered, developmentally appropriate learning environment where instruction is integrated, based upon literature, and thematically driven.

Language Arts
    The Kindergarten Language Arts curriculum integrates reading, writing, listening, speaking, and viewing. It is through the use of effective teaching strategies that we equip our students with age appropriate reading strategies, so that they can construct meaning from texts. We encourage our students to become decision-makers, problem solvers and risk takers, so that they can understand and enjoy our complex modern world.

Science
Our Kindergartners are constantly engaged in hands on, science based, learning activities, which encourage exploration, discovery, problem solving and critical thinking. Our Science curriculum is centered on a variety of themes, including:

Math
    Our Kindergartners are curious about the world around them. Knowing this and realizing that students learn best by doing, our mathematics instruction is problem centered and concept oriented. Our students are constantly engaged in hands-on math activities, which encourages them to develop as problem solvers who communicate and reason mathematically.

Activities
    As our Kindergartners bloom, we strive to provide them with quality instruction that reflects a strong mixture of singing, playing, painting, dancing, laughing, skipping, coloring, smiles, rhythm, rest, surprise, wonder, hugs, friendship and caring!
